DESCRIPTION

The "MALALA" candle is inspired by Malala Yousafazi, a Nobel Peace Prize winner advocating for the rights of women and children.

With only eleven, Malala wrote a blog diary on a BBC website about her feelings & fears caused by the violence in her hometown Swat Valley just as her daily life under the reign of the Pakistani Taliban. As a result she was shot, which brought the young freedom fighter even more fame.

Ever since, Malala has been regarded as a symbolic figure for freedom and education for women worldwide.
